AB Property Marketing (ABPM) was founded in early 2005 by Charlotte Ashton.

Whilst working in the overseas property industry, she identified a need for a specialist PR and Marketing agency 100% dedicated to property. Utilizing her first-class communications skills and true passion for property, Charlotte has spent the last decade building one of the most respected and well-known property PR and Marketing agencies in the marketplace, delivering results for her clients time and time again.

    Charlotte Ashton

    Founder and Managing Director

    In short, Charlotte's a property girl through and through. She comes from a property family with her Father a Chartered Surveyor and spent most childhood weekends driving around retail parks playing the "spot the selling agent signboard" game! She studied Geography at the University of Birmingham, securing her very first job working for the largest Spanish property agent in the UK. Having come from a self-employed family, starting up on her own was pretty much inevitable and despite having endured many highs and lows, she wouldn't have it any other way. Never far from her iPhone, ABPM is not just Charlotte's work but her passion although she does make time to fulfill her other love - travel. With an ever-growing list of destinations to visit on her bucket list, she isn't doing too badly with every continent ticked off - apart from Antarctica but that's on the list too! - and trips to Italy, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Budapest planned for 2016. Charlotte also likes to keep fit and plays hockey regularly as well as undertaking half marathons, triathlons and mad 100km bicycle rides to raise money for the charity she set up in 2011, the Frontiers Foundation.

    As a seasoned member of the ABPM team, Charly brings a wealth of administrative and client management experience from the financial industry, as well as a real passion for working creatively and embarking on a career within PR and Marketing. Having studied Media and American Studies at the University of Winchester, Charly was able to combine her interest for the modern media landscape and mass communication with fulfilling a dream of living stateside for six months in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Charly has since been able to develop her love for travel by exploring other regions of the globe including trips to Eastern Europe, Italy, Thailand and Singapore. When not in the office, or jet setting to her next destination, Charly can be found in the nearest theatre continuing her enjoyment of the performing arts.

    Louise Taylor is truly passionate about the written word and enjoys little more than spending her time crafting the perfect press release, news item, blog post or webpage for AB Property Marketing’s clients. Organised and efficient, with strong research skills, Louise loves the challenge of writing about properties and investment opportunities in a range of global locations, from holiday homes by the sea, to structured agricultural investments, to modular hotel accommodation for oilfield workers. When not writing about property, Louise likes to spend her time exploring, blogging and writing about Portugal, where she has lived for the past five years, with regular forays into neighbouring Spain. She co-authored her first book on Portugal in 2012. Travel-wise, the US and Caribbean are top of Louise’s list of favourite destinations, both being areas which she, her husband and new son love to explore and, of course write about, whenever the opportunity arises. As a qualified proofreader and copy editor, Louise is the annoying one in the office constantly on the lookout for stray commas. Thankfully the AB Property Marketing team is used to her perfectionist ways by now!

    As the team’s most recent addition, Sophie has moved from her hometown of Stafford to London in order to learn the ins and outs of the PR world. As a recent graduate from Loughborough University, achieving a BA in English Literature, Sophie is excited for the next chapter of her life to begin. She was a member of Loughborough University’s National Champion Cheerleading Squad, as well as the Gymnastics and Dance teams and helped lead Loughborough Sport as a whole. She enjoys keeping busy, playing volleyball, dancing, and keeping active in general. Her favourite travel destinations include Prague, Cuba, California, and yearly European ski trips. In her spare time, Sophie is a lover of fashion and beauty, wine and exploring the City with friends.

    Roy Bristow is an experienced marketer with many years of working in the property sector. From a background in film theory, linguistics and semiotics Roy established himself within the exhausting world of cinema exhibition and distribution. From there he moved into television programme acquisition and as new technologies became more prevalent worked on a variety of interactive and mobile applications. Looking for a new challenge Roy decided to use his range of skill sets in the property sector and finally created a niche for himself in the new world of social media. Working with a variety of clients Roy set himself up as a consultant providing the content wraps for clients by utilising the required channels to gain visibility and reach. By providing new and relevant content on a daily basis to support a variety of property products and services Roy has developed a very noticeable body of work and gained several marketing awards for innovation. More recently Roy has built several social advertising campaigns to assist the existing projects as the nature of visibility in social changes.
